Attract Investment to your Community and Business: OpportunitiesBC

Are you looking to attract investment to your community or business? Are you interested in expanding your network of potential investors to a global audience? OpportunitiesBC can help you make a business match whether your listing is a small business succession opportunity or a large scale resource project.

OpportunitiesBC is an online searchable database of business and project opportunities throughout British Columbia suitable for investment.  At no cost, you can submit opportunity profiles to the database where they will be featured on British Columbia's official Trade and Investment website. Local economic development officers and key provincial representatives, including those in B.C.'s trade and investment offices across the globe, will work with their network of stakeholders to help you make business matches.

Usage of OpportunitiesBC is excellent and growing. In 2013, opportunity profiles in the database received almost 150,000 page views from around the world. Communities throughout British Columbia are reporting increased inquiries, are welcoming interested buyers from overseas, and business matches are being made.

Would you like to learn more about this valuable tool? The Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training is hosting a free webinar that will provide more detail on:

  • How OpportunitiesBC works;
  • How OpportunitiesBC is successfully attracting investment enquires to opportunities throughout British Columbia;
  • Community profiles; and
