Organizational Membership includes two voting members plus an unlimited number of non-voting members from within your organization. It provides member rates for professional development courses, webinars, conferences, and the BC Economic Summit, while also giving staff and eligible members access to resources, networking opportunities, funding updates, tools, and special programs. It offers a cost-effective way to expand participation and strengthen economic development initiatives across your entire organization. This membership is only available to Local Governments, First Nation communities and develepment corporations, Community Futures, BIA's, Chambers of Commerce, and other non-profit organizations.

Individual Membership
Individual Membership is designed for individuals working in, supporting, or interested in economic development who want to stay connected, informed, and engaged throughout the year. Individual Members receive access to BCEDA resources, professional development opportunities, networking events, funding updates, sector information, and member pricing for courses, webinars, conferences, and the BC Economic Summit. It provides an affordable way for professionals to strengthen skills, expand connections, and remain informed on issues and opportunities impacting communities and economic development across British Columbia.

Affiliate Members
Open to consultants, developers, suppliers, and other private sector professionals who support the objectives of BCEDA and the economic development profession. Affiliate Members receive full access to BCEDA programs, resources, and communications. Multiple individuals from the same organization may join for an additional fee. Organizations that become BCEDA Partners or Sponsors may receive complimentary Affiliate Memberships for additional representatives, depending on sponsorship level. Affiliate Memberships are non-transferable, non-assignable, and do not include voting rights. Additonal affiliate memberships under the same organization are available at a discounted rate. Expires December 31 of each year.
InterProvincial/International Membership
Individual InterProvincial/International memberships are available to members from locations outside of BC (excluding Government of Canada). Expires December 31 of each year.
Elected Official/E.D. Board Membership
Individual membership available to Mayors/Chiefs, Council Members and economic development board members. No voting privileges at BCEDA AGM. Expires December 31 of each year. Please check to see if your community already has a organizational membership before buying this option. Expires December 31 of each year.
Retired EDO/EDO In Transition Membership
Individual membership available for one year to those who are between jobs in the economic development field. Retired professionals working as paid consultants do not qualify, but do qualify as an affiliate member. No voting privileges at BCEDA AGM. Expires December 31 of each year.
Student Membership
Individual membership available to students enrolled in full time studies. All student applications are subject to Board approval. Practicing economic development officers and consultants are not accepted under student status. Copy of transcript listing current/future registered courses must be submitted. No voting privileges at BCEDA AGM. Expires December 31 of each year.
